Why should I choose Event Entertainment Services?

Bottom line - we do a great job because we love what we do. We just aren't happy if we don't turn your wedding or special event into a masterpiece.

Good DJs are not easy to find, simply because you don't often get to hear very many of them, or see how they interact with a crowd. We have seen some that barely speak, and others that act like used car salesmen. We speak professionally and clearly, and interact with your guests to make sure everyone has a great time.

We are proud to say that we rely on referrals from previous clients and banquet center managers for new business, because those are the people who have first-hand experience - seeing DJs week in and week out.

Speak to as many DJs as you can and ask lots of questions. The key is to find a DJ who has plenty of experience and you are comfortable with. You'll know when you've found the right one who will best fit your needs.


How are your services priced?

Unfortunately, this is always the first question we get. The fact is, if you are looking for the lowest cost DJ company, we're not for you. We pride ourselves on being a PREMIER DJ ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY offering professional services to those who want the best. If you're looking for budget prices, you'll end up with budget service, and that's not us.

Did you know that when asked after the event - over 80% of brides said that they wished they'd spent more on entertainment?

Amazing, right? Keep that in mind when selecting your entertainment. The choice you make for entertainment is not the place to bargain shop, or you may end up with bargain basement quality. Pay for a professional.

What's the big deal about photo booths?

Photo booths are the newest feature for weddings and special events. Your guests will have a blast, and they can't wait to get in! For weddings, anniversaries and birthdays, the best feature is the scrapbook. After guests get their pictures, they leave one in your scrapbook with a special note. You want cool? Our booth will record video messages as well! Your guests can even email their photos to themselves while they are still inside the booth!

We customize the photo strips, the scrapbook pages, and even the video screen just for you!


Are you experienced with weddings?

Oh yeah! Providing DJ services for weddings is how we got started, and it's what we do best. Scott has been tastefully entertaining at weddings since 1990. We have provided fun, classy, professional entertainment at hundreds of weddings all across the state of Ohio.


Who will be my DJ?

Scott Stover is the owner of EES, and makes up half of the DJ staff. Funny, yes, but the point is that we don't have a large staff, nor do we want one. When booking, you will know it's Scott handling your event, and you will work with him from the first contact all the way through your event date.  Jess Ames is the other part of the staff, and he handles many of our karaoke events, smaller parties, and other venues. You will know who your DJ is up front, with NO SURPRISES.


How will the DJ dress?

This is up to you. We dress professionally and appropriately at all events and we are prepared with tuxedos, suits, or whatever you prefer.


What about music? Who decides what to play?


You. Period.

We suggest that you give usyour special dance songs, a list of other "must-haves" and "don't play" songs, then let us do what we do best - read the crowd, take requests and play great tunes for your party.  We are experienced at finding selections that fit all age groups. If you'd like to make a full list and have us stick to just that, no problem – although we don't suggest it. We will play every song you ask for, skip the songs you don't want, and stay within your guidelines. We promise to never, EVER play anything inappropriate at your event - unless you say so.


What kind of equipment do you use?

All of our gear is professional DJ and sound equipment. We don't buy discount equipment, because you don't want discount sound. Your music will be crisp and clear, with plenty of low end for the full sound that makes a difference.

We use professional DJ software - Virtual DJ, as well as a long list of pro hardware - EV and QSC speakers, Audio Technica and Shure microphones, Denon and Numark mixers, On Stage stands, Chauvet lighting, and more. Check out our equipment page for details.
